Student writing workshop and talk at Launceston Library on March 4, 2022

Are you a student aged 16 or over from Launceston College sixth form, Exeter, Falmouth or Plymouth University? The Charles Causley Trust would like to invite you for a once in a lifetime opportunity to join us on Friday 4th March from 2 – 4pm for a workshop and talk from Times bestselling author, Patrick Gale! In celebration of the launch of his new book Mother’s Boy, which is based on the youth of Charles Causley and the life of his mother, Laura, Patrick is leading a workshop on all things creative and story writing. This is the perfect opportunity for English and Creative Writing students to ask Patrick your own creative queries especially about the challenge of basing a story on real people. Tickets are available to students aged 16 + or in full time or part time education and are free. Book yours now to secure your place at this event!
