Jane Darke’s Causley – Launceston on March 5, 2022
A huge influence on Patrick’s decision to write Mother’s Boy were conversations he had with the Cornish filmmaker Jane Darke, so it’s a great treat for him to be able to interview her about the work on either side of a free screening of it as part of the Charles Causley Trust’s Mother’s Boy celebration weekend. It’s a glorious, funny, moving film in which leading poets speak about what Charles’ work means to them, and it really repays a second or third viewing. This will be at 5pm at the Eagle House Hotel. Entry is free but please visit the Causley Trust website to book yourself a place.
