Coffee and cake with Patrick in Charles Causley’s house! on March 5, 2022

As part of the weekend of events laid on by the Charles Causley Trust to celebrate the publication of Mother’s Boy, join Patrick for coffee and cake and guided tour in and around Charles and Laura’s beautifully preserved cottage, Cyprus Well.

Take the opportunity to ask Patrick all about his latest novel, Mother’s Boy, which is based on the youth and boyhood of Charles Causley and the life of his mother, in the house in which they both lived. Cyprus Well was Charles Causley’s home for 50 years, having bought the property in 1952 to share with his widowed mother. He continued to live there after she died in 1971.  The house is never normal open to the public as it is so small so this event is a unique opportunity to engage with Patrick’s creative reimagining of the life of the Causley’s and to view an incredibly personal and iconic space. Tickets are limited to only 6, so this is a very exclusive event. Secure your place at this event by booking now!
