Patrick Gale is Perfectly Well… on November 11, 2020
Patrick has often observed that one of the curious side effects of writing novels over a long period – in his case over thirty years – is the emergence of unintended themes in one’s work. In his case one of these is mental illness and extreme mental states. As part of his Quay Words residency at the Exeter’s lovely old Custom House Museum this autumn, he’ll be talking about his treatments of mental illness in his writing over the years, giving readings and taking questions.
The date of this event has now passed but the kind team at Quay Words recorded it so you can watch it up on YouTube by clicking here.
